We are looking for expertise in Java/J2EE, JSP, JSF, Oracle RDBMS, Spring, Hibernate and Web Services.
We currently have a vacancy for Java/J2EE Developers, fluent in English,
to offer their services as experts who will be based in Glasgow. The
work will be carried out at the customer premises. In the context of the
first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the
Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major
client"s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
* High level technical analysis, development and system testing;
* Creation/ modification of a customer interface to a back office data source;
* Full integration to ensure a seamless end to end process is maintained;
* Back end development and limited development on front end web based systems;
* Production of technical documentation.
Your skills:
* Minimum 8 years of relevant University Studies and professional experience in IT;
* Experience in Oracle RDBMS, Toolkit, Java/J2EE also ideally JSP and JSF;
* Expertise in web services integration (WSDL);
* Extended knowledge of XML, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, HTML, Javascript, Eclipse, Maven, ANT build tool, PVCS and subversion;
* Proven track record in software development;
* Fluent in both spoken and written English.
